Privacy Policy for Skyris IGU Photo Survey

Monte Joseph Vaughn (“Developer”) provides the Skyris IGU Photo Survey application (the “App”) for professional work associated with Skyris Imaging, LLC (“Skyris”). In this Privacy Policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Developer and Skyris.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when the App is used.
The App is intended to be used by Monte Joseph Vaughn as a professional inspection and documentation tool for work associated with Skyris Imaging, LLC.
1. Information Recorded by the App
The App may record information entered or generated during an inspection, including:
• IGU identifiers and elevations• Inspection grades• Inspection notes• Camera model and frame-rate settings• Time-zone and time-synchronization confirmations• Event dates and timecodes• Imported inspection records
This information is entered by the user or generated locally as part of the App’s inspection workflow.
2. Local Storage
Inspection information is stored locally on the user’s device.
Skyris does not operate a server that receives, stores, or processes inspection records from the App.
The App uses local device storage and preferences to preserve inspection records, settings, archives, and recovery copies.
3. Exporting and Sharing Information
The App allows the user to export inspection records as CSV files and share or save those files using Apple’s system sharing interface.
The user chooses whether to export information and where the exported file is sent or stored.
Once information is exported from the App, it is governed by the privacy and security practices of the destination selected by the user.
4. Importing Information
The App allows the user to select and import compatible CSV files.
Imported information is processed locally on the device and becomes part of the locally stored inspection record.
The App does not automatically upload imported information to Skyris or any external server.
5. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect or transmit information from the App for advertising, analytics, profiling, or tracking.
The App does not:
• Track users across apps or websites• Sell personal information• Display third-party advertising• Use third-party analytics services• Create user accounts• Collect precise location information• Automatically upload inspection records• Access the device’s photo library• Access the device’s contacts• Access the device’s microphone• Access or control the device’s camera• Remotely control an external camera• Retrieve photographs from an external camera
Camera information entered in the App identifies the external camera used during an inspection. The App records the camera name or model only as inspection metadata.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Inspection information remains on the device until the user deletes an inspection, removes an archive, imports replacement data, or deletes the App.
Deleting the App generally removes locally stored App information from the device. Copies may remain in an Apple device backup or in other backups controlled by the user.
Exported files must be deleted separately from every location where the user saved, copied, transmitted, or shared them.
7. Data Security
The App uses protections provided by iPadOS and stores its active inspection records using Apple’s file-protection mechanisms.
However, no electronic storage method can guarantee absolute security.
The user is responsible for protecting:
• The device on which the App is installed• The device passcode and Apple Account• Exported inspection files• Device backups• Email messages or cloud-storage locations used to transfer files• Any other location where inspection information is saved or shared
8. Confidential and Legal Information
Inspection csv records are Attorney Work Product.
9. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for professional use and is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.
10. Third-Party Services
The App uses Apple system services for functions such as displaying documents, selecting files, sharing exported files, and storing information on the device.
When the user chooses to share or save an exported file through another application or service, that application or service may process the file according to its own privacy policy and terms.
We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of a destination independently selected by the user.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s functionality, information-handling practices, or legal requirements change.
Any revised policy will identify its effective date.
